Sally & Dennis | Holiday Family Session

Congratulations to this little family of three.

I can't emphasize enough how special this session was to me because it celebrated both marriage and the joy that comes with a growing family. I made it my goal to capture Dennis & Sally's story and how much it meant for them to become parents. Plus, it was such a fun way to combine their Christmas card and pregnancy announcement for their friends and family!

At our session, we caught the sun right as it was setting in a gorgeous ranch, and it was so fun frolicking with the horses there. They were so gentle and curious and such a great addition to the pictures! Congrats, Dennis & Sally. I can't wait to meet baby Yang in May :)

Teresa & Vinh | Japanese Garden Engagement

Teresa and Vinh are one of those couples where you could just easily be yourself with. They graciously traveled in from St. Louis and chose to do their session at Hermann Park because that's where they had their first date! When we started, we definitely had to overcome some jitters, but eventually, I could just see Teresa and Vinh feeling more comfortable in front of the camera. I just loved how they were always up for anything and how quick to laughter they were with each other. In between, I had such a fun time getting to know each other as well as listening to their stories. They are so lovable and have the sweetest souls. I seriously can't wait to photograph their wedding next June!

Annie & Jimmy | Houston Bell Tower Wedding

What a sweet, beautiful and exciting wedding day! My experience with Annie & Jimmy was absolutely spectacular. It was special in so many ways, one of them being that I grew up with Annie back in youth group, and I had looked up to her the same way I would for an older sister. Secondly, I have the utmost respect and admiration for how persevering and patient these two were. As you all may know, Hurricane Harvey had hit Houston pretty disastrously back in August, including Annie and Jimmy's original venue. On the same week they were getting married, they had to quickly find an alternative venue. I can't even imagine the stress they felt, but thank God it everything fell into its rightful place, especially at the beautiful Bell Tower! These two are one of the kindest souls I've met, and I couldn't have had a better time serving them and their families. Annie and Jimmy, thanks for trusting me with such an important and memorable milestone!

Chelsea & David | Romantic Sunset Engagement

As if I haven't said it enough, fall is absolutely my favorite season. What makes it even better is when I get to photograph sweet couples like Chelsea and David. Just think... a stunning sunset, a romantic setting, and a gorgeous couple. It couldn't have been more perfect. The cherry-on-top was how beautiful that afternoon was. We had actually rescheduled multiple times due to inclement weather, and I just wasn't sure what to expect the day of our session. Thankfully, not only the did the gloomy clouds stay away, we were blessed with a lighting that was to die for! Chelsea and I have been exchanging emails for a few months now, but I couldn't have been more excited to meet her and David. They are such a fun couple, and I loved how friendly they are. Throughout our session, we'd walk around the park, laughing and getting to know each other. By the end of the session, I almost felt like we've been friends for years! I also love how natural these images are. I had such a great time editing this session, and what made it funny was how sad I was when I was done. It was so satisfying when I got to relive their romance through each frame and see how they transform during post-processing. With that said, I hope you'll enjoy these photos as much as I did. I will be shooting their wedding next March so you'll definitely want to check back here for what's yet to come. Cheers!
